Terry had no class at all yesterday, run onto the pitch celebrating like he'd played his part, rather than nearly costing the whole club that moment with his mad kick out in the semi-final.

What I did note though was Abramovich's show of almost embarrassment when Drogba handed him the trophy... he didnt want to be given it really or lift it, but was put on the spot.

Turn back the clock a few hours and David 'goatface' Gold was on the pitch at Wembley with the West Ham players, giving interviews (and gave another today to Sky Sports News), grasping the trophy himself, not giving it on to anyone else for a good period of time... I understand he's put money in, but let the players and manager enjoy the moment like Abramovich did.

To be fair to David Gold, if I had invested my own money into any club and they won a trophy, i'd want to be on the pitch, celebrating and soaking the atmosphere in with the team and staff :lager:

hardly... he left his seat in the stand and took himself onto the 'presentation' balcony.

And why not I say, fair play to him it's what he has been chasing for so long.

Yeah he went on there, but didnt want the attention or glory for himself, he went and stood at the top of the steps to congratulate everyone as they came up including Di Matteo.

He seemed embarrassed when Drogba came over and handed him the trophy, and couldnt lift it and give it back quick enough... then he kept his distance from it all, unlike Gold who followed them round like a bad smell desperate for all the attention he could get... hence why he scheduled an interview (Sunday) with Sky for them to go to his house and ask him a few more questions.

Didnt get his helicopter in the background for once though which was surprising

True he is the polar opposite of Gold... got to enjoy that moment though, it's what dreams are made of if you have two left feet :P

My worry is, how many youngsters are being lured into becoming "Chelsea fans" after last night.

I was "lured" into becoming a Chelsea fan for a year or two after they won the FA Cup in 1970. (Since then, I've been a Birmingham fan).
I was pleased for Chelsea the other night. I've always had a soft spot for them
